How to spend the summer holidays in North Cornwall

Cornwall is absolutely packed full of fun activities and attractions. With the school holidays approaching, we’ve cherry picked some of the brilliant things to see and do during the summer holidays in North Cornwall.

Surf Lessons

Not just for the little ones, but one for the whole family! Experience the thrill of riding the waves on Polzeath beach with George’s Surf School. Highcliffe guests receive a 10% discount on all surf lessons too!

Tennis Lessons

Brush up on your racket skills with a group or 1-1 tennis lesson on our two courts. Enquire with us at Reception to book a session.

Rock Pooling

Nothing is more quintessentially British than rock pooling on the beach in the summer. Just a short walk from Highcliffe is Greenaway Beach where you can play in shallow pools, gullies and rocks. There’s an abundance of wildlife here, just remember to put everything back!

Sea Safaris + Boat Trips

Explore Cornwall’s most beautiful coastline and sea life by boat with Padstow Sea Life Safaris. From dolphins, birds and the occasional whale this is a great experience for the whole family.

Rock Oyster Festival
